with feeding and watering horses

will learn to do the following:
Grooming Includes:
Clean the horse's hooves. What kind of brush to use
where. Give a horse a bath. Clip a horse's muzzle and bridle path. All kinds of horse information will be taught. Watch
a farrier put shoes on a horse.
To Tie
a Horse Safely
To Saddle and Bridle Properly
Ride in the Arena and Out on the Trail
How to Clean a Stall
We will have Horse Movies, Games, lots of
fun stuff.
Fishing, Clearing Trails, Horse
Painting, Possible Tours of Nearby Farms.
Last
year we went to Hanover Shoe Farms.
Field
trip to a nearby carriage house that has all kinds of antique horse drawn equipment.
Carriages, sleighs, farm equipment, saddles, harness. Parents are welcome to attend also.
Less than 3 miles from our farm.
Bring shorts and sneakers for bathing horses
Each child will be assigned a horse for the week.
Cost $300.00
Please bring your own lunch.
Water, Fruit
Drinks and snacks will be available all day.
