* About Our Trail Rides *

The Trail Rides at our farm are lots of fun for everyone.

We make sure you are on the right horse for a very enjoyable ride.

Our horses are not your run-of-the-mill "hack" horses, they are very well trained and responsive.

We offer rides at our farm location and also at Codorus State Park.

We will first give you a very short course in riding. So that you know what to do and how to do it. It isn't hard, you just have to remember to breathe and just relax.

We will ask you the heights and weights of all the riders when you call to schedule your ride. This is so we can have the correct horse saddled for you, with the correct size saddle to fit you.

Not having a saddle that fits is very uncomfortable.

Don't worry, we have a mounting block so you don't have to struggle to pull yourself up in the saddle.

These are guided rides on very user friendly horses.

You will be going up and down hills, thru the woods, out in the open, crossing creeks a few times, usually we see deer, rabbits, red-tailed hawks, wild turkey, large snapping turtles, ground hogs and ~~we do have a white deer that we have been seeing on almost every ride at the farm.~~ Casper was found dead on our farm on September 28th, 2012. We will miss her very much.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED RIDER OR YOU HAVE NEVER RIDDEN BEFORE, YOU WILL LOVE OUR HORSES.

WE EVEN HAVE FOLKS WHO HAVE THEIR OWN HORSES THAT COME HERE TO RIDE OURS!

Farm Trail Rides - $ 40.00 per person per hour

Codorus State Park Trail Rides - $60.00 per person per hour

Must have at least 4 people in your party for the Codorus Park Ride

Holidays Weekend Rates - Farm: $50.00 per person per hour

Holiday Weekend Rates - Codorus Park: $ 70.00 per hour, per person.

Sorry, we do not offer any discounts for large groups, or for children.

Children should be extra, it takes a special horse and also someone to lead the child on their own horse.

So, please don't ask for a discount for kids. We should charge double for kids, we give children extra special attention.

We accept Visa, M/C, Discover, Cash, Personal Checks

We do not accept any credit card payments via email

If you want to use your credit card, it will be a 5% additional ,charge added to your final charge. If you have any questions, please call our office.

All rides are by appointment only and must be secured with a credit card or pre-payment

In the case of imclement weather, we will re-schedule your ride.

When scheduling your ride we will need the heights and weights of all riders.

Min. age 5 years old for Farm Rides, 6 years old for Codorus State Park, only one child under the age of 8 per ride.

Max. weight is 240 lb.

Max. Age: You are never too old to kick up some dust on the trail!

If you have a ride scheduled and need to contact us that day, please call my cell 717-968-5790, be sure to leave a message. Due to the fact that sometimes we just can't get to the phone or we are in an area with bad reception, but we will get it when we get to higher ground or have a free minute to get back to you.

The best time to call, is early. Between 6 and 8 in the morning. We have a lot of stuff going on, so please call us early. We will get back to you as fast as we can. Call both of our numbers.

If you are camping at Codorus State Park, we will give you first priority. But, please call both numbers. We are only 5 miles from Codorus State Park. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

If you are looking for a place to have your wedding, we can do that too. If won't be real fancy, but it will be a very good time.
